Guided Tours and Old West Photos

Bill & Jeff funny_1.jpg

Thanks to a Florence Wasmer Grant award from the Inland Northwest Community Foundation, and a partnership with Rural Resources of Pend Oreille County, guided tours by costumed youth is a part of every weekend and holiday throughout the summer season.   Savanah Cristman and Eric Wittemyer are our youthful hosts and their knowledge of the 100 year old building, the history of the region and gracious welcome to summer guests is done with a grace beyond Savanah and Eric's years.  As a new feature this year, Savanah and Eric will help outfit guests in Old West apparel from the Cutter Theatre's costume room, then position subjects on a set, offering props and ideas to create an informal photo sitting. In moments, photos are taken and colored for sepia tone reproduction; the idea is to appear 100 years old.   Photos are emailed to photo subject's home, or for an added charge will be burned to CD disk. The intention? To capture the moment in time for our guests. Photo packages begin at $8 and hours of operation mirror the tour hours; noon until 4pm. We hope to see you there. Note: Thanks to board member Bill Dean (L) and Jeff Scott (contractor w/hip-mounted measuring tape) for participating.
