Traditionally the space that actors prepare for stage entrance is called The Green Room, perhaps because it was often outdoors. The Cutter Theatre's Green Room is therefore painted green. There are two stairways; one leading to the upper level and Art Gallery. The other staircase leads to an ample dressing and make-up area in the lower level.
The Green Room is used for conferences, dinners, parties, wedding receptions, training, testing or a classroom. Several times per year dinners that compliment a performance are hosted here.
